Our Produce

We grow a diverse selection of organic vegetables and herbs that are delightful to farm and delicious to eat. With the assistance of hoop-houses, low-tunnels, and a root cellar, we’ve expanded our early and late-season production so we can store and harvest vegetables all-year-round.

Becoming a member of our CSA is the best way to support us. We have a standard 22-week season program–with weekly and biweekly options–as well as an extended year-round CSA and a Market Card, which rewards your upfront commitment with a 5-15% discount on your purchases at pickups and market.

We send out a weekly newsletter with tips and tricks to best use your vegetable bounty, including a list of the items in that week’s share.

We seek to open your palates to new varieties, new flavors and new ways to eat and process them, while providing standard favorites and a balanced abundance each week. Yields will vary from week to week and season to season, and thus, share contents will also vary.

Find us on Saturdays at the Fulton Street Market from 8-2 PM during the summer season and 10-1 PM in the winter–our stall is on the east side of the market or indoors during winter.

Saturdays year-round we vend a full-spread of the freshest, seasonal vegetables. Feel free to stop by anytime to talk to us about bulk orders; we’d be happy to meet your sauerkraut needs, provide the salad for your next big shindig or stock an heirloom tomato bar for your wedding.

If you frequent farm-to-table restaurants in Grand Rapids, there’s a good chance you’ve been served some Green Wagon fare. Area chefs have worked alongside us in our fields, shared meals at our picnic table, and helped us create on-farm dinners for our community.

You can taste our goods downtown when you dine at Reserve Wine & Food, at The Sovengard on the west side, and Harmony Brewing in Eastown. Our produce is also available at Kingma’s Market and Harvest Health Cascade and distributed by Cherry Capital–a Traverse City company that works to distribute good food statewide.
