Being members of Green Wagon Farm CSA has provided our family many benefits. Our children not only know the names of most vegetables, they know how they taste and they love them! Our children excitedly help me choose the vegetables each week at pickup. They help me plan our week's meals based upon the vegetables they choose. I believe they eat more vegetables because they have a hand in choosing the vegetables that make their way to our dinner table. My husband and I also wanted our children to understand the work that goes into growing the food we consume. We didn't want them to think food just shows up at the grocery store and we buy it. We wanted them to know the farmers and the hard work they put into growing the food we eat. We wanted them to be able to talk to the farmers and ask what vegetables would be ready soon. Great produce, great customer service. Green Wagon Farm became my CSA last year after nearly a decade at another local CSA. I was perfectly happy at my former farm, but I was excited to have a closer location to access. Green Wagon Farm surpassed my expectations. Great experience! - Michele T.
